I-RECYCLE
i-Recycle – Modular Local Recycling Point
I-Recycle is a modular, compact, and highly versatile local recycling point, designed for strategic deployment in urban environments. It enables the separate collection of specific waste streams close to residents, promoting participation and improving the efficiency of municipal services. Thanks to its intelligent design, i-Recycle supports the collection of up to 20 different waste fractions, with a total capacity exceeding 740 litres, optimising available space without compromising functionality or accessibility.
MODULARITY AND MAXIMUM URBAN ADAPTABILITY
The i-Recycle system, manufactured in galvanised or stainless steel with a polyester powder-coated finish, is based on a modular architecture that allows each installation to be tailored to the specific requirements of neighbourhoods, municipalities, or urban areas. The system can be configured using different modules, including: a front module for the collection of a specific waste stream via a 120 L internal container; a multi-waste module for selective collection at a single point; a narrow module for space-constrained locations; and independent side modules for expanded configurations. This modular approach enables multiple layout combinations, facilitating seamless integration into streets, squares, pedestrian zones, and residential environments.
AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS
The I-Recycle system is available in a range of configurations and sizes, allowing it to be tailored to the specific requirements of each municipality, the volume of waste generated, and the characteristics of the urban environment. Its modular design enables installation in both high-traffic areas and space-constrained locations, providing an optimal balance between capacity, footprint, and functionality. This flexibility allows the system to be easily scaled, expanded, or reconfigured in line with the evolution of selective collection schemes and municipal sustainability objectives.
SMART CONNECTIVITY AND DIGITAL SERVICE MANAGEMENT
I-Recyclecan be equipped with an optional digitalisation and IoT connectivity module, enabling real-time monitoring of fill levels and optimising municipal service management.Usingoptical level sensors and low-power LTE connectivity, the system supports data-driven collection planning, preventing overflows and reducing unnecessary collection routes.Thesolution includes a digital management platform, accessible via web and mobile applications, allowing operators to monitor unit locations, receive automated alerts, analyse usage data, and configure waste streams according to municipal requirements. In addition, integration with Smart City platforms and Open Data systems enhances operational efficiency, reduces costs, and supports the ongoing digitalisation of urban services.
